FS Auth - Activate Freedom Scientific Network product license

Problem

A customer needs to activate a network license for a Freedom Scientific BLV product JAWS/ZoomrText/Fusion.

Note
Network license operation requires use of the Sentinel software to distribute the license to client installations of JAWS/ZoomText/Fusion.  Do not attempt to activate the software from the client software.  You can download using the link below:

Resolution

  1. Open Start menu then choose Freedom Scientific > Update Network Authorisation.
  2. Then click "Start Activation" then click "Manual activation" radio button.
  3. On the next screen take down the "locking code" number and fill out the authorisation number with the 20 digit code for you license.
  4. Click the link below to visit the activation website: https://fsactivate.freedomscientific.com/Activation/RetrieveActivationLicenseCode
  5. Enter the 20 digit authorization number and locking code into the edit fields and click "Submit" button.
  6. The next page will display your your license code, you can click the "Copy code" button or highlight and copy the license code up to and including the # sign.
  7. Return to the activation wizard and paste in the "activation license code" edit area within the ZoomText/Fusion activation window.
  8. Now click "Next" and you will be notified if activation has been successful.

Testing network license

To test the license run one of the clients and see if it connects to the network license. In general provided the server and the workstation are on the same subnet it should work.
