Activation wizard disappears in the middle of activation.

Problem

There are situations where the ILM authorization process does not work to activate your Freedom Scientific software with your serial number. For example, when trying to activate on an Apple Mac that is running Parallels® Desktop for Mac to run Windows, the activation wizard may disappear after choosing the Yes button on the UAC prompt dialog box. No error message is given.

In these situations, try activating using the fsactivate run command.

Solution

To activate using a Run command:

  1. Press WIN+R to open the Run command dialog box.
  2. Type fsactivate, then press ENTER.
  3. Follow the prompts to complete the activation.
