Battery condition report using Powershell

Problem

You are having issues with reduced battery uptime/capacity.

Resolution

You can check some details such as Battery Cycle Count for the internal battery using the steps below:

  1. Click Start button or press the Windows key to open the start menu.
  2. Then search "Windows Powershell", right click and choose "Run as Administrator".
  3. In the Powershell window at the prompt type the following command below, then press ENTER:
powercfg /batteryreport
  1. Close the command window and then open Windows Explorer.
  2. Open your main hard disk and double click select Windows folder then Systrem32 folder.
  3. Then scroll to the file "Battery Report" file and double click to open it.
  4. Battery status information will be displayed.

Please report the following values to Technical Support:

• Design Capacity
• Full Charge Capacity
• Cycle Count
