BrailleSense 6 – Strange files suddenly appear in File Explorer

Problem

A customer notices strange files having suddenly appeared on their flashdisk.

Detail
Files such as those below may suddenly appear and cause customers concern about their unit. The files that may be seen are:

.cloud 
.polairsoffice 
.selvashc

Action

User are advised not to try deleting or modifying them in any way, they are necessary to the operation of the unit.

Resolution

The BrailleSense 6 range normally default to hiding system files, however this feature may be accidentally disabled. Follow the steps below to re-enable the hiding of system files.

• Use the hotkey Enter-H anywhere in the BrailleSense or;
• Open File Explorer > View menu > Hide System Files
