BrailleSense 6 top keys not working

BrailleSense 6 top keys not working

Problem

The top panel Perkins Braille keys have stopped working. Front panel keys and switches may be unaffected or not working also.

Resolution

Please check the three-position lock switch at the left of the front panel. This can be used to lock out either just the top keys or both top panel and front panel keys. It has three states detailed below:

  • Left = All keys and switches locked.
  • Middle position = Top panel locked; front panel active.
  • Right = unlocked
