BrailleSense 6 – Typing mode
Information
Typing mode is a feature that disables document navigation key chords that may be accidentally activate by those who as fast typists (in Braille). In essence it is a way of saying to BrailleSense that you are concentrating on entering text and chord combinations enter text literally where Braille rules allow.
Turning on Typing Mode
Note
- This feature is only available in the Word Processor app.
- Enabling this feature disables document navigation commands.
- Use the hotkey chord whilst the Word Processor Backspace-Space-Enter-M after which you should hear “Start Typing Mode” spoken and display in Braille.
- To disable Typing Mode press space-dot 4 again, “End Typing Mode” will be spoken and displayed on the Braille line..
