Openbook - Cannot edit newly scanned document
Problem
After scanning a document with Openbook you cannot edit the text of the document.
Resolution:
The Openbook software after scanning automatically enters the user into a ready-only mode so that the document is protected exactly as scanned in. However if the user wishes to edit the document this can be achieved by press the keystroke below:
CONTROL+E
Alternatively the user can access the “edit menu” and choose the “Edit” option within the menu itself by pressing ENTER on it.
Once either of the above have been carried out the user may then edit and change the text in the document and save the changes if desired.
