Apple - Check Mac OS version
Problem
In order to support troubleshooting the Mac OS version number needs to be obtained and provided to Technical Support.
Resolution

Note
Due to changes in Mac OS UI a new set of instructions are provided to obtain version info. The old instructions remain for reference.
- Click the Apple symbol at the top left of your screen on the menu bar.
- Then click “About this Mac” on the menu.
- A dialogue will be displayed similar to the one shown below. Please provide the operating system name and version number to support.
