Claro - Setting accessibility permissions (Mac OS)

Problem

There are problems with Claroread functionality in Mac OS not working as expected.  

Detail

During initial installation Claroread prompts to add Accessibility permissions that it needs to control the operating system.  However, it is possible this may have been missed or ignored which may lead to the software unable to work properly.  

Resolution

Accessibility permissions must be set to allow Claroread to operate properly with Mac OS, use the steps below to set these permissions.
  1. Close Claroread if it is currently running.
  2. Then click Apple symbol (top left) then click System Settings.
  3. In the Settings window scroll down and click Privacy and Security.
  4. Then scroll through the right hand list to Accessibility.
  5. Then locate Claroread and click the toggle switch to the right to enable accessibility permissions for it.  If you are asked to authenticate use the sign in password.
  6. Then open and test Claroread functionality to see if this has helped.
