Duxbury - Error 213 posted when embossing to Index embosser

Problem

When sending an embossing job to an Index V4 embosser Dubxury Braille Translator software posts error 213.

Resolution

  1. Make sure the Index printer driver and IbPrint version 6.3.7 or later are installed on your PC. These files are available from the Support section of www.indexbraille.com an account may be required to access the download.

  2. Download the file ESC_C-Bottom-offset fix file linked here:
    http://www.indexbraille.com/getmedia/9e0d9313-6501-49c9-ad7f-dad048cec8a1/ESC_C-Bottom-offset.txt

  3. With the offset file downloaded run IBPrint and drop this into the software and sent it to the embosser. This will update the value on your active Layout 1-5.

Optional

If you would like it to effect all Layouts change layout on the fonr panel and send the file again for each layout.
