Focus – Pair with IOS devices over Bluetooth

Problem

A customer wishes to connect their Focus display to use as a Braille display with an IOS device such as iPhone/iPad

Resolution

Please use the steps below to pair Focus with an IOS device. 

  1. Power on the Focus display.
  2. On the IOS device open Settings > Accessibility > VoiceOver > Braille to begin searching for Braille display.
  3. Swipe one item past “Choose Braille Display” where it should show “Searching… “ until the Focus is found.
  4. When the Focus display is shown double tap this to open pairing screen.
  5. In the pairing screen enter the code 0000 and double tap Pair button located in the top right of the display to establish the connection.
