FS Auth - Automatic online license activation for

Problem

A Freedom Scientific JAWS/ZoomText/Fusion user needs to activate their product license online.

Resolution

The instructions below cover installing a new license or updating an existing license.

Using the keyboard

  1. Please start the Freedom Scientific product and wait for the activation prompt to appear, then press ENTER on Update Authorisation button.
  2. Press ENTER on Automatic using the internet.
  3. For a brand new installation enter the 20 digit ILM authorisation code.  If updating an existing installation an ILM code will be pre-populated, press ENTER to continue.
  4. The activation will tcommence and you should be advised of its status on the next screen, press ENTER to respond. 
  5. Then press ENTEr on the Finish button to complete the process. 


Using the mouse

  1. When the product launches click Update Authorisation button.
  2. Then choose the method automatic (Internet) activation method.
  3. On the next screen you may be prompted for a 20 digit code, if you are updating an existing install this When prompted check there is an ILM code present or enter one and click Next
  4. The activation will then take place and the activation successful message will be displayed, click Finish button to proceed.
