FS Auth - Check Server and Client computer for Network authorization
Problem
A customer wishes to know the meaning of each feature code on the Freedom Scientific Sentinel license admin console.
Resolution
The license for a Freedom Scientific product consists of a two digit code underneath a machine name, if it is shown this will confirm if the license is running.
- On the license server computer log in as Administrator.
- Then open Start menu and scree to Freedom Scientific
Network Authorization group.
- Then run Server Administration.
- In the Server Administration window observe the tree view
panel on the left side.
- Then check under Defined Servers under the machine name for the server for the presence of a
two digit product code (refer to the table below for valid product codes).
- If the product code is showing click it to reveal more
information about the condition of he license in the right hand panel.
- Once the product code has been verified check one of the client PCs receive authorization from the server by launching it. The product should not display any activation windows.
