FS General – Early Adopter Program (EAP)
Problem
A customer wishes to know what the Early Adopter Program dialogue is for in Freedom Scientific products JAWS/ZoomText/Fusion and how to enable it.

Resolution
The Early Adopter Program is a way to opt-in for an early
access to new developing features and support for a Freedom Scientific
product. The items shown there will vary with change in major versions and release of features to full roll out. Please note that these features may not be fully
working or stable enough for public roll-out.
You can disable them in the dialogue box if necessary.
JAWS
- Press JAWSKey+J to open the JAWS window.
- Open the Options menu and choose Early Adopter Program.
- Use TAB to explore features available in the Early Adopter Program dialogue.
- Press SPACEBAR to enable or disable them.
- Then press TAB to OK and press SPACEBAR to save changes.
- Then restart JAWS by pressing JAWSKey+SPACEBAR followed
by F4 or manually restart JAWS or Windows.
ZoomText/Fusion
- Click the ZoomText/Fusion taskbar button or press
CONTROL+CAPS+U to open the main program window.
- Then open the ZoomText/Fusion menu and select Help >
Early Adopter Program.
- In the dialogue click to enable or disable the Early Adopter
Feature to use.
- Then click OK button to save the selection.
- Close ZoomText/Fusion manually or restart the computer.
