FS Install– Error downloading ‘DotNet6DesktopRuntime’
Problem
Whilst installing Freedom Scientific BLV product JAWS/ZoomText/Fusion, the setup fails with the code 80070005 citing failure downloading the component ‘MicrosoftDotNet6DesktopRuntimex86’ setup is aborted.

Resolution
- If you were using the online installer for Fusion use the
offline installer by going to: Fusion
Offline Installer page.
- If difficulty still continuers, download the Microsoft .NET 6 installer by visiting the
following page: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/core/install/windows. After installation run the Freedom Scientific BLV installer for the product to complete install.
Note
If the version being installed is not the current shipping version please be sure to select the correct version before download to ensure it is compatible with the license being used.
