An organisation that uses Freedom Scientific products needs information communication of Seamless Updates feature. 


Detail

 Seamless Updates is a new method of updating JAWS script support silently, responsively and without user intervention or via JAWS auto-update mechanism.  By allowing Seamless Updates to operate users have quick timely access to script updates in response to problems that arise. 



Resolution

In order for Seamless Updates to work JAWS must have access to Internet on the following ports:


  1. Executable name:  jfw.exe
  2. Ports: 20 and 21 or port 80 TCP
