JAWS - FSDN scripting documentation resource shows blank topics after downloading
Problem
After downloading the FSDN help file for JAWS scripting resource clicking on topics shows blank content.
Resolution
The problem is caused by the SmartScreen filter built into Windows. You can force it to let the FSDN through using the steps below, once completed the file will work as normal.
- Please disconnect all wireless and wired Internet connections.
- Open the location in which the FSDN resources resides.
- When the blue SmartScreen dialogue pops up either click or TAB to the “Run” and press SPACEBAR to activate button to allow the FSDN through. The FSDN window will then open and should display topics.
