General - Getting a a free Microsoft or Google email address

Problem

A DSA student who is using their university email to access their DSA software is having problems getting the address accepted by the developer website.


Resolution

Most DSA software will not accept using a university email address to register a product becuase this might conflict with a license held by the academic institution.  Therefore we advise using a personal email address.  If how you do not have a personal email you may create a free account with Microsoft or Google to serve as your personal email address.
