Global Autocorrect – Unable to update installed software
Problem
A customer has Global AutoCorrect installed, when they
try to update the software the software posts a message to try again later,
software is not updated from the version installed on the computer.
Update
12/04/2024: Certificate issue update inquiry in progress.
Resolution
- Upon investigation we have been notified by the developers Texthelp that the problem is due to their transition from the old LexAble security certificate to a new Texthelp certificate. During this transition they turned off auto-update to avoid problems.
- An update with a new certificate is available from the release of Global Autocorrect V5 (February 2024).
- For earlier versions please use the download link in order to update pre v5 installations: www.lexable.com/getgac
