How to determine the version of Google Chrome is being used

It may be necessary to help with Technical Support queries to investigate what version of the Google Chrome browser a customer is using. Below are steps that will allow users to gather this information for both mouse, keyboard and JAWS screen reader users.
Resolution
Depending on the needs of the scenario or customer use either of the methods below to obtain the information.
Using a mouse
- In Chrome click the three-line menu button at the near top right of the Chrome window.
- Then click Help > About Google Chrome.
- The information will b e displayed to be read off or a screenshot be taken.
Using the keyboard
- In Chrome press ALT+F to open the menu.
- Press down arrow to reach Help and press ENTER to open the sub menu.
- Press ENTER on the option “About Google Chrome”.
- The information will be displayed to allow you to take down the information.
Additional steps for JAWS users
- On the About Google Chrome page press CONTROL+HOME to make sure you are at the top of the page.
- Then press H repeatedly until you get to “About Google Chrome”.
- Then use down arrow until you get to the line that reads “Version” and then speaks the version number.
- Press SHIFT+RIGHT ARROW to highlight all the text on this line and press CONTROL+C to copy the text.
- If you need to save or send this information open the document and press CONTROL+V to paste it straight in.
