HP printers do not print using third party ink
Problem
After changing inks on an HP Deskjet printer printing suddenly stops.

Resolution
- A new firmware update released in March 2023 has introduced a feature called Dynamic Security which prevents their printers from running if the ink installed is detected as being not genuine HP ink.
- Due to the above measures introduced by HP, Sight and Sound strongly recommend only using HP inks to avoid printing being disabled.
Corrective firmware (OfficeJet only)
