Index V5 - Update firmware online

Problem

An Index V5 embosser is connected to Wi-Fi and you want to update embosser firmwaree.

Resolution

  1. Press MENU on the control panel of the V5 embosser
  2. Press DOWN ARROW to User Service and press OK
  3. Press DOWN ARROW to Firmware update and press OK
  4. Then select Firmware upgrade from internet by pressing OK.  The latest firmware will then be downloaded and installed the process will takes 1-10 minutes.  Once update has completed the embosser will restart itself.
