Present Pal - Install the Microsoft Powerpoint add-in

Problem

Present Pal on mobile device does not follow your Powerpoint presentation or you need to install the Powerpoint add-in for Present Pal.

Resolution

In order to use Present Pal an add-in must be installed into Powerpoint so it can keep track of the presentation to relay information to your IOS or Android mobile device.  Please use one of the methods below to install the add-in.

Method 1 - Use the installer package

  1. Download the package apropriate for your computer:
    Windows: https://presentpal.co.uk/s/Present-Pal-add-in-installer.exe
    Mac: https://presentpal.co.uk/s/PresentPal-PowerPoint-AddIn-Installer-2022.zip
  2. Right click the install and follow the steps.
  3. After completion the installer will then open Powerpoint application
  4. Then cli0ck Inssert ribbon, then Get Add-ins button.
  5. Then choose Shared Folder and then select Present Pal.
  6. Then click Add button.

Method 2 - from within Powerpoint

  1. Open Microsoft PowerPoint with an existing project or simply create new blank project.
  2. Then click the “insert” ribbon and select “Get Add-ins” button on the toolbar.
  3. In the new window search for “Present Pal” without the quotes.
  4. In the list of results click the “Add” button next to the entry for the Present Pal add-in.
  5. Then click the “Continue” button.
  6. Then click the Present Pal” button on the toolbar.
  7. Click the “Log in” button and enter your email address and access code, then click “Remember me” checkbox below and then the “Log in” button.
