If you find that you cannot pair your Focus Blue braille display (5th generation), in Windows 11 build 22H2 (OS Build 22621.1848) it is because braille displays, and other devices are classified differently by Microsoft now.
To get the display to show up, you will have to change the discovery mode to advanced within Windows.
From the Bluetooth device settings screen, press tab until you get to the Bluetooth devices discovery combo box. By default, the option is set to default. Change the setting to advanced and you should be able to add the device.
1. Windows key for start menu.
2. Type bluetooth and press enter.
3. Tab over to “show notification to connect using swift pair button”. This should be checked.
4. Tab twice. JAWS will read: Bluetooth devices discovery combo box: Default.
5. Set to advanced
