JAWS - Tandem in version 2022 failure to connect

Problem:

When using JAWS 2022 to connect to a JAWS 2021 Tandem target you are able to input the meeting ID but the Tandem connection never starts as it should normally.

Resolution:

Updates are available for JAWS/Fusion to fix Tandem issue when connecting from 2022 to 2021 products See November 2021 updates announcement

Notes:

  • Vispero are changing the Tandem server as of JAWS version 2022.
  • This means that JAWS 2022 cannot communicate with a JAWS 2021 Tandem target unless updated using the November 2021 update linked above.
  • JAWS 2022 users are advised to update to the latrest November 2021 update to fix the isue.
  • JAWS versions 2020 and earlier will no longer have Tandem functionality once the old Tandem server is decomissions. Therefore Tandem will only be available to JAWS 2021 and later as there are no plans to update versions 2020 and earlier.
