An organisatino/business intending to install JAWS/ZoomText/Fusion wishes to understand the use of AI and online features in JAWS with consideration to their own data handling policies.

Many organisations and business have policies and proceedures on the use of AI, the information below is intended to provide a high level overview of how AI is used in JAWS. 

 

FS Companion

This is an online AI chat bot hosted on the web. Users may access this feature via the Help menu in the JAWS/ZoomText/Fusion by activating the item Vispero Companion which opens  browser to the location:  https://fscompanion.freedomscientific.com/ 
It is intended soley to provide answers on using Freedom Scientific JAWS/ZoomText/Fusion produdcts and is therefore has a limited in the scope sole for that purposse.

 

PictureSmart

This online feature is intrended to be used for OCR or to provide description of images for JAWS users.  Please refer to this article for further details:
