Emails in Outlook are showing up in reverse order with oldest at the top.
Sighted colleagues and helpers can easily fix the problem by clicking the Received header just above the list view to re-order messages below. JAWS users may carry out similar using the steps below.
Press ALT followed by V, then press RS.
A slightly longer way around is this method.
1. Press ALT V followed by V to open the Advanced View Settings dialogue.
2. Press TAB to reach Sort button and press SPACEBAR.
3. Then in the Sort Items By drop down make sure this is set to received or use arrow keys to select this option.
4. Then press TAB key and use arrow keys to select Descending.
5. Press ENTER to save your change, then TAB to OK and press SPACEBAR.
If you have a folder whose items are displaying correctly use the steps below to apply this view to any other folders you have.
1. Press CONTROL+Y and ENTER to navigate to the folder your settings are already correct.
2. Press ALT follow by V, CV. A to open the dialogue.
3. In the tree view press spacebar to check the folders you wish to apply the view settings to, remember to use right arrow then down to apply view to any subfolders you need.
4. When done press tab to locate the checkbox Apply View To Subfolders checkbox and check this if required.
5. Press TAB to reach the OK button and press spacebar.
