JAWS - Dongle authorisation does not work on Windows ARM


Problem

When JAWS is launched on a the Windows ARM platform it fails to detect an attached dongle authorisation.

  1. JAWS

 

Resolution

  1. Using ILM authorisation with Windows ARM is fully supported, however dongle authorisation is not currently supported (June 2024) due to lack of suitable drivers.
  2. Customers may need to switch to ILM Authorisation method which is supported on Windows ARM.
