JAWS – Move mail folders in Outlook
Problem
A JAWS user working with Microsoft would like to move the location
of a particular user created mail folder to another location within the Outlook folder structure.
Resolution
- Press CONTROL+Y and use arrow keys to locate the folder to be moved, then press ENTER to select it.
- Then press SHIFT+F6 until you get back to folder tree
view with your chosen folder highlighted.
- Then press SHIFT+F10 to open context menu and use UP/DOWN ARROW keys to highlight Move folder and press ENTER.
- In the dialogue tree view use the arrow keys to select the new parent folder under wish to store your moved folder and press ENTER.
