JAWS - Random speech interrupts focus "Alert click to back to the top"
Problem
The JAWS customer hears speech at apparently random intervals "Alert click to back to top" which interrupts program focus.
Resolution
- Check that Windows has all of the updates available for the system.
- The problem appears to emanate from the following process but as of writing little is known as to why information is reaching JAWS:
File: msedgewebview2.exe
Locatino: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\EdgeWebView\Application\111.0.1661.54
- Update:
This problem appeared to be fixed by a subsequent Windows update so the solution for most users is to make sure they are up to date.
