JAWS – Set to announce single digits instead of full numbers
Problem
When encountering long numbers JAWS will announce them as hundreds and thousand which is confusing for users.

Resolution
- Press JAWSKey+F2 and select Settings Centre.
- Then press CONTROL+SHIFT+D to modify the default configuration.
- Then type the word ’number’ into the search and down arrow to Number processing “number processing.
- Press SPACEBAR to until it is toggled to the Single Digits option.
- Press TAB to reach the “Apply” button and press SPACEBAR followed by ENTER.
