JAWS – Using audio splitter with remote access

Problem

A JAWS/Fusion user is connected to a remote computer and encounters problems using the audio splitter function which does not behave as expected.

Resolution

Sight & Sound Technology have consulted Freedom Scientific developers concerning the operation of sound splitte whilst using Remote Access facility.  The developers have advised us that this usage scenario is currently not supported due to the way the virtual channels work.   The developers do not have a way of addressing this problem for a fix at this time.
