JAWS - Virtual PC cursor state not recalled switching back to browser from another window
Problem
A JAWS user encounters a problem in JAWS 2022 where the virtual PC cursor state (on) is not retained after switching away from Microsoft Edge and back again.
Applies to
- JAWS 2022 with Microsoft Edge (101.0.1210.39)
Resolution
- In JAWS open Quick Settings (JAWSKey+V).
- Then navigate to the setting Virtual Cursor On/Off based on Browser Tabs and press SPACEBAR to enable it.
