Detail

Microsoft release Windows 11 to the public 05/10/2021 as their updated version of Windows. This release is available to any existing Windows 10 Home user provided their machine meets the system requirements.

Resolution

  1. We are aware that Microsoft intend to retire certain technologies during the life-cycle of Windows 11 operating system which may adversely affect 2021 and earlier Freedom Scientific products therefore continued product compatibility cannot be guarunteed for versions 2021 and below;  for example it is known Microsoft plan to retire the Accessibility Driver technology at some point during Windows 11 product cycle.
  2. If customers wish to use Windows 11 and have a license for 2022 product, they are advised to install and authorize their 2022 or later product before upgrading to Windows 11 itself.
  3. Users running 2021 and older versions are advised to check their product license to see if it will support 2022 or later.
