Microsoft release Windows 11 to the public 05/10/2021 as their updated version of Windows. This release is available to any existing Windows 10 Home user provided their machine meets the system requirements.
Resolution
- We are aware that Microsoft intend to retire certain technologies during the life-cycle of Windows 11 operating system which may adversely affect 2021 and earlier Freedom Scientific products therefore continued product compatibility cannot be guarunteed for versions 2021 and below; for example it is known Microsoft plan to retire the Accessibility Driver technology at some point during Windows 11 product cycle.
- If customers wish to use Windows 11 and have a license for 2022 product, they are advised to install and authorize their 2022 or later product before upgrading to Windows 11 itself.
- Users running 2021 and older versions are advised to check their product license to see if it will support 2022 or later.
