K1000 features no longer supported

Information

Since its introduction in 1997 K1000 has been supplied with some features that are no longer supported. These have been confirmed with the developere. The current version if 14.15.

Features no longer supported

English Languuage CD
An English Language CD used to be supplied with K1000 but has not been some versions. Two features therein contained therefore are no longer present or supported anymore:

  • UK high quality voices (including Daniel) - these no longer work on Windows 10.
  • Oxford English Dictionary: This was supplied in addition to the American Heritage dictionary. As above this feature is no longer supported or present in K1000 veresion 14.0.
