K1000 - Features no longer supported
Problem
A customer reports a feature in the K1000 software is not working for them
Reaolusion
K1000 software has been in existence in the mark since 1997 over which time it has had an evolving set of features some of which are no longer suported in the latest versions of K1000.
English Languuage CD
An English Language CD used to be supplied with K1000 but is and has not been available for some time. The two features therein contained are therefore are no longer present or supported anymore:
- UK high quality voices (including Daniel) - these no longer work on Windows 10.
- Oxford English Dictionary: This was supplied in addition to the American Heritage dictionary. As above this feature is no longer supported or present in K1000 veresion 14.0.
