We have noticed that versions beyond 12.0 can be affected by this even though it is theoretically fixed for 14.0 and above. Therefore the methods below may be necessary.
You have K1000 version 12 installed and activated but it is now prompting to activate again.
A number of possible causes may have triggerred the problem:
The most likely cause is if the system time is changed, for instance for Daylight Savings Time, the Kurzweil 1000 activation may be lost.
Method 1: Reactivate K1000
This can be resolved by reactivating again as normal, then updating Kurzweil 1000 to the latest patch to stop the issue occuring in future.
Method 2: Install update patch for version 12.0
This issue only occurs in Kurzweil 1000 v12. Please use this link to download the patch:

Method 3: completely remove k1000 and reinstall
You can conduct a Full K1000 uninstall then reinstall the product to fix the problem.
