Make JAWS speak single digits instead of full numbers
Problem:
You wish to make JAWS speak numbers as single digits rather than full numbers announcing hundreds and thousands.
Resolution:
- Press JAWSKey+F2 and select Settings Centre.
- Then press CONTROL+SHIFT+D to modify the default configuration.
- Then type the word “number” into the search and down arrow to “number processing.
- Press SPACEBAR to toggle the setting to “Single digits”.
- Press TAB to reach the “Apply” button and press SPACEBAR followed by ENTER.
