DBT (Mac) - Manually run DBT activation wizard in Mac OS Catalina

Problem

When using DBT Mac version on Mac OS Catalina 10.15 you may find the activation wizard does not appear when it should.

Resolution

The information below will help will allow the user to run the activation wizard manually for purposes of DBT Mac activation. 


Ussers running Mac OS Catalina 10.15 are advised to update to Duxbury 12.3 for mac.

  1. Go to the DBT.app in the Applications folder.
  2. Right click on the DBT.app, and select Show Package Contents.
  3. Go to the Contents/Helpers folder and double click on ActWiz.app to start the DBT Activation Wizard.
  4. After the DBT Activation Wizard starts, follow the prompts to start a new activation over the internet.
