You need to perform a reset on a A Mountbatten Tutor (MBT) to fix malfunction.

Resolution
Please review the resets and any related warnings below and choose appropriate to the need.
Method 1 - Settings Reset
Use this method when there appear to be problems with the setting on the MB Tutor. Settings will be reset to their defaults and User data is retained.
- Power on the MB Tutor.
- Press Menu button in the middle of the cursor cluster.
- Then select System using up/down keys and press ENTER.
- Then select Restore All
Settings, then press ENTER again.
Outcome: This option will reset settings to their factory defaults, user data is retained.
Method 2 – Soft Reset
Use this reset if the unit appears to be not responding and you cannot navigate the menu system
- Locate the MENU button located at the centre of the cursor cluster.
- Press and hold MENU command button for approximately 5 seconds. if it does not work first time, holding down the Menu button for a little longer.
Outcome: All user settings and data are retained.
Method 3 – Hard reset
Warning
This setting will erase any user data on the MB Tutor.
- Locate a small pointed object such as a ballpoint pen or straightened
paperclip.
- Then locate the pinhole reset between the USB A and USB B
ports on the right hand side panel.
- Press and release the button to reset MB Tutor.
Outcome: User data may be lost.
