Microsoft - Guide to using Snip and Sketch app
Problem
A customer needs to use the snip and sketch tool to take and annotate screenshots when engaged in troubleshooting problems.
Resolution
- Line up your intended capture situation eg, error message from application.
- Then press SHIFT+WINDOWS+S to invoke the screen capture utility.
- Then click with the mouse on the buttons to select the type of screen capture you need.
- Click the window you wish to capture, draw area you wish to capture. The screenshot will then be taken.
- Click on the preview of the image that pops up to save the image.
- Then click Save button and save the image into a folder you can easily find.
