Mindview – The Mindview 8.0 install wizard ended prematurely

Problem

When running the Mindview 8.0 installer the message “The Mindview 8.0 install wizard ended prematurely” is posted and setup fails to continue.


Resolution

Please carry out the below steps to fix the problem. 

1.       Download the C++ 2015-2019 components installer linked here: 

2.       Then click the download to run the installer file and follow the prompts.

3.       After completing the C++ component installer run the Mindview setup again and follow the prompts.  It should complete the install.

4.      Verify all is working by opening up any existing projects or start Mindview from the desktop icon.
