MiniVision 2 – Check for software updates

Problem

In order to attempt to troubleshoot a problem with the MiniVision 2, users are advised to try checking for software updates to fix a problem.

Resolution

Kapsys recommend users use run the update proceedure when they have access to Wi-Fi connection for best performance. Use the steps below to check for software updates.

  1. Press MENU button and use up/down navigation to find Settings and press OK.
  2. Then use up/down keys to locate About Phone and press OK.
  3. Then likewise locate and choose System update and press OK.
  4. After the check is started and an update is available cursor up/down to the Download button and press OK to proceed with the update.
  5. Download progress is announced, do not attempt to operate the phone whilst it is updating, wait for it to restart and speak again after completing the update.
