Minivision 2 – Create new phone contact


Problem

A customer wishes to store a contact on Minivision 2 phone.

Resolution

The MiniVision phone has a contacts application that allows the customer to store phone numbers with contact name and associated phone number and recall these later when needed.

 

  1. Press MENU key, then UP/DOWN keys to select Contacts then press OK.
  2. Press MENU key, then press UP/DOWN keys to select New Contact, then press OK. You will then be taken into the First Name edit box in.
  3. Press OK to select the First Name box to begin editing.
  4. Then use T9 style key entry to fill out contact First Name then press OK to move on.
  5. Press OK to begin Editing Surname edit box and use T9 entry to enter this details then press OK.
  6. On the Number edit box press Ok to begin editing, then enter the complete phone number to dial for the contact and press OK again.
  7. From here you will get other selections to make include Type of contact, Note, Ringtone (to select a specific ring tone for the contact).
  8. When all the selections have been made press MENU key and use UP/DOWN keys to locate Save option and press OK to save the contact.
