Minivision 2 - Quick Dial set up and use


Problem

A customer wishes to use a single press to dial a specific contact for their convenience.


Applies to

  1. Minivision 2 

Resolution

  1. The Quick Dial feature requires that contacts have already been entered into the phone before making a Quick Dial assignment.
  2. Once set Quick Dial allows the customer quickly dial a frequently used contact by pressing and holding one of the numeric keys 2 through 9 (please note key 1 is reserved for voicemail.

 

Quick Dial set up

  1. Press MENU key then use UP/DOWN keys to locate Quick Dial then press OK to enter this function.
  2. Then using UP/DOWN keys to select the number you wish to fill with a contact and press OK.
  3. Press UP/DOWN keys to locate the contact name to be associate with the numeric slot just selected, then press OK to select it.
     


Tip
You can also assign a contact to a key whilst in the contact.  With the contact open press and hold one of the numeric keys that has no assignment until you get a prompt to confirm this assignment.  Using UP/Down keys select Yes then press OK to make the assignment.


 

Calling with Quick Dial

  1. Press and hold one of the numeric keys 2-9 to for a few seconds. 
  2. The number for the quick dial will be made as normal.
  3. Press Call Release to finish the call.
