Problem
A user wishes to check for and update Mountbatten Brailler Tutor firmware.

Resolution
The Mountbatten runs on internal software which is periodically updated. It is a common troubleshooting step to check what version is running and check if an update is available.
Check MBT firmware version
- Press Command inside the cursor key cluster key to the menu system.
- Then select More Options > System > Device information.
Update MBT firmware
- Download latest firmware that has been provided
- Unzip the firmware ZIP file by right click and choose Extract All in the menu.
- Copy the the MBUPDATE.TUT folder and its contents in the root folder of a Pen drive (USB thumb memory)
- Then connect so prepared USB drive to the right-hand USB socket on the MBTutor
- While the USB drive is placed in the socket (when MB Tutor is on), you will hear a message "USB memory connected” spoken.
- Then press menu and navigate to System -> Update device
- after an additional prompt, the update process will start automatically.
