No connection error using Google Voice services on Kapsys Smartvision phone

Problem

When using Google Voice or other services requiring a data connection you hear the message stating there is no connection when you are not in range of a Wi-Fi network. This solution should hold for other apps that also use mobile data.

Resolution
• Check on the home screen that you are showing 3G or 4G data connection.
• Checking data connection is enabled From the home screen navigate to navigate to Applications > Settings > Data usage > Mobile > Data and make sure data is turned on.
• Obtain mobile APN settings
• If you appear to show a data connection but are still not able to use applications that use data then you may need to add your mobile provider APN settings to the phone. Contact your mobile provider for their assistance, often there is a text number you can send a command to for the provider to send over your mobile connection info to install.
