Openbook – Select Pearl camera as scanning source
Problem
An Openbook user wishers to select Pearl camera as image source.
Resolution
Before proceeding with the instructions below ensure that the Pearl camera is connected by USB before starting Openbook.
Select Pearl camera
- Launch Openbook software from the Desktop icon as normal.
- Press ALT+A to open the Advanced menu.
- Press DOWN ARROW to get to Device Selection and press
ENTER.
- In the Device Selection dialogue press UP/DOWN ARROW keys
to select Camera in the Acquisition Source
- Then press TAB.
- Then press UP/DOWN ARROW to select Pearl camera, then
press ENTER.
- Press ALT+G for Settings menu and press ENTER on Save
Settings menu item.
- Then press TAB key to locate Save button and press
Spacebar on it.
- When
prompted to overwrite the settings file tab to Yes button and press ENTER.
Scanning with Pearl
Scanning with Pearl is the same as for any other imaging device. Press SPACEBAR to initiate a scan.
