Orcam Read 3 - Set up as a magnifier

Problem

A customer would like to set up their Orcam Read 3 to act as a magnifier on a computer or tablet device.

Resolution

If you have a computer or tablet device that has a web browser and functioning internet connection you may use the steps below to have Orcam Read 3 act as a video magnifier.  Use of the supplied folding stand is recommended for best results.

  1. Power on Orcam Read 3 unit and mount on the foldable reading stand.
  2. Make sure that any document is then placed underneath the stand for viewing.
  3. With a browser on computer or tablet visit:  orcam.com/en-us/magnifier
  4. Activate the link 'lets get started'.
  5. Then create your account with email address or sign in with an existing Google or Apple account.

  7. Follow the on screen instructions to complete setup.  Once initial setup has been completed get straight into magnification after signing in.
