Printing on A4 using Viewplus embossers guide

Problem

You wish to emboss onto A4 using one of the Viewplus embossers using Tiger software.

Resolution

  1. Open Windows Control Panel> Devices and Printers> Right click Viewplus embosser > Choose Printing Preferences> paper/media tab> choose German Std Fanfold> Apply.
  2. Open Microsoft Word and go to the Layout tab. Choose Paper Size and select German Std Fanfold from the list.
  3. Then finally, go to the Tiger tab in MS Word> Choose Profile Settings> click Page Layout tab> Choose German Std Fanfold from the paper size drop down> Save and Apply. So long as all of these three areas match, this should print properly when you print to the Viewplus embosser.

Notes:
Be sure to set the paper size in the following three areas:

  • Printer Preferences of the driver
  • Word document paper size
  • TSS profile settings> page layout

When using A4 tractor paper, please bear in mind that it does not conform to standard A4 paper size! So Microsoft Windows provides a 12" long A4 form called German Std Fanfold.
