Reset Smartvision 3 PIN

Problem

A SmartVision 3 customer needs to reset a forgotten phone PIN number for unlocking the SmartVision 3 mobile. 

Resolution

You can unlock doing the following process :

What you need

  • A Google account that has beenm setup on the SmartVision 
  • Sight assistance:  the Process cannot be done by a blind user since the interface is not vocalized
  • A SIM card with a data plan installed in the phone.

PIN Reset Procedure

  1. Switch OFF the phone
  2. Switch ON the phone pressing Volume +, waiting for the setup window  
  3. Select « Recovery » using “volume +” keys then press “Volume –“ to validate
  4. Select « Wipe data / Factory reset » and validate
  5. Select « Factory data reset » and validate
  6. After phone reset, select « Reboot system now » and validate.
  7. Waiting for the Google setup until the code PIN  
  8. Select « use my google account “ instead on the PIN code
  9. Follow the Google connection process

 If you don’t any google account or SIM card the product must be reflashed by KAPSYS.
